Hey Brad and Dick,

Sorry I missed you last Saturday night at Union Church. My parents gave me a copy of the Prodigal Son CD. Upon istening to Track 1, I began to cry. Keep up the Lord's work. I hope to see you soon. I'll be in touch.

In Him,

Steve

Long Time Fan
About Me:
I was a stubborn, strong-willed child who did whatever I needed to do to get my way. I had adopted my own verision of the it's my way or the highway philosophy employed by my ancestors. Although, being the youngest of three boys in a family of five, my agenda was not given much attention so, I developed a group of friends that supported my world view. I desired to be popular, wealthy and successful. This approach to life worked reasonably well for me as a youth. However, as I grew older I found it increasingly difficult to maintain this type of lifestyle. In fact, I don't even think I was buying everything I was selling.

By the time I started high school, it was obvious to me that the foundation that I was building my life upon was made of sand. Up to this point in my life I hadn't spent much time in church, but the few grains of truth that I had heard traveled from my head to my heart. I couldn't rationalize gaining the whole world at the expense of my soul. I had experienced enough in my young life to realize that I was a sinner in desperate need of a Savior.

As I reflect back on my life, I can see what a crossroads I was at. Making the choice to accept Jesus Christ as my personal Savior has had a profound inpact on me. It provided me with a firm foundation in which to build upon. Now, my life is full of meaning and purpose rather than self-indulgence.
